The Guam Bar Association wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family of the late Steve Newman.  Attorney Newman was recently sworn in as a new member of the Guam Bar last year and was working with the Attorney General’s Office, Civil Division.

Prior to working on Guam, Steve Newman had practiced in Saipan for approximately 10 years, and served as legal counsel for former Governor Juan Babauta and as associate counsel for the law office of former Presiding Judge Edward Manibusan.

The AG’s Office will be hosting a memorial service for him at 5:00p.m.on Friday, July 30, 2010 at the 1st Floor Lanai Area of the AG’s Office.  All members are encouraged and welcome to attend the memorial service.  Information concerning funeral services will be announced shortly.
