Executive Order No. 2020-08 - Establishes Differential Pay to all government employees whose work is necessary for government operations
Executive Order No. 2020-09 - Further extends the public health emergency until May 5, 2020.
The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services issued Guidance Memo No. 2020-03 to help provide further clarification on what business operations are deemed essential services, what businesses are prohibited from operations, and what types of areas are prohibited from any gatherings.
The District Court of Guam has issued General Order No. 20-0014 outlining continued closure in further response to COVID-19. Please see the attached General Order for complete details.
Please note that at the direction of the Governor and Chief Justice, the Guam Law Library Closure is now extended through April 13, 2020.
The District Court of Guam has issued General Order No. 20-0013 re: Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act") Authorization for Video and Audio Conferencing in Criminal Proceedings.
The Supreme Court of Guam issued Administrative Order (No. ADM 20-214) on Friday, March 27, 2020, relative to extending the closure of non-essential Court Operations and tolling time limitations under exigent circumstances related to Covid-19 (Coronavirus).
Please see the attached Judiciary of Guam Administrative Order (ADM20-212) relative to automatic extension of temporary Restraining Orders, Injunctions, Civil Protection Orders, and Stays, and temporary suspension of sentences due to exigent circumstances related to COVID-19 (coronavirus).
In response to the declaration of public health emergency by the Governor, the District Court of Guam has issued General Order 20-0012 that further outlines in detail, continued changes to its daily operations for the next few weeks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Office of the Attorney General of Guam is currently closed to the public by Executive Order No. 2020-05. Please see the attached notice on service and assistance during normal business hours, M-F, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
