We are happy to announce the 2024 High School Civics Contest sponsored by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and by the District Court of Guam. The theme of the 2024 contest is "70 Years Later - The Legacy of Brown v. Board of Education.” More information may be found in the attached flyer or here, and entries will be accepted through March 8, 2024 Pacific Time.
Cash prizes will be awarded to winning essay and video entries! Local (Guam) winners or teams in each category will receive prizes of $300 for 1st place, $200 for 2nd place, and $100 for 3rd place. These winners will then advance to the Ninth Circuit level, where cash prizes of $3,000, $1,700 and $1,000 will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners or teams at that level.
