Guam Legal Services Corporation-Disability Law Center (GLSC-DLC) is a private, non-profit corporation providing legal services to persons with disabilities, victims of violence, and children in non-criminal cases. GLSC-DLC is now accepting applications for the following full-time position:

ATTORNEY
The primary responsibilities of the ATTORNEY include working with victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other crimes as well as individuals with disabilities and their families to provide advocacy and civil legal services. The position also requires performing additional duties consistent with GLSC-DLC’s other programs.
Must have a Law Degree and be barred to practice on Guam or in another jurisdiction but is prepared to take the bar examination and pass within five (5) years. Applicants must further demonstrate the ability to organize, manage and complete projects in a timely manner; develop new skills and knowledge as needed; and work collaboratively with GLSC-DLC staff, its collaborative partners and the community. Fluency in other languages is an asset.
Applicants should have a team-oriented attitude. Must be able to empathize and have an understanding for individuals with disabilities, survivors of domestic violence/sexual assault, minors in the court system and other vulnerable populations. Applicants must have good communication skills, efficient typing skills and computer proficiency. Applicants must also have a valid driver’s license and his/her own vehicle.
Excellent benefit packages available. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
