The District Court of Guam has issued General Order No. 20-0020 that outlines the requirements of using face coverings while visiting the courthouse. Please review the attached order for further details.

The Committee on Justice will convene a confirmation hearing on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 beginning at 1:00 p.m. on the appointment of Dana A. Gutierrez to the position of Judge, Superior Court of Guam.

The District Court of Guam has issued General Order No. 20-0019 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, extending the Court's access restrictions cited in General Order No. 20-0018 through June 5, 2020.

Governor Lou Leon Guerrero announced that Guam will go to Pandemic Condition of Readiness 2 (PCOR 2) at 8 a.m. ChST, Sunday, May 10, 2020 allowing some businesses to open under DPHSS guidance. In response to continued efforts to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and with the consent of the Supreme Court of Guam, the Guam Bar Association Annual Meeting is tentatively rescheduled for July 2020. An exact date has not been scheduled but more information is forthcoming.

Northern Court Satellite to Expand Services May 11, 2020

Due to the ongoing efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Supreme Court of Guam issued Administrative Order No. ADM20-239 on May 4, 2020 outlining continued changes to its operational procedures. Note that this Updated Order repeals and replaces Administrative Order Nos. ADM20-203, ADM20-206, ADM20-207, ADM20-210,ADM20-211,ADM20-212,ADM20-214,and ADM20-220.

Please note that the District Court of Guam and the U.S. Pretrial and Probation Office are closed through May 8, 2020. Click on General Order 20-0018 for further operational information due to ongoing precautions in place as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please note that the 2020 District Court of Guam Annual Conference, previously scheduled for Thursday, July 16, 2020 is postponed for a later date in the future when large gatherings can be safely scheduled.
